If you are trying to scan a Barcode and hear the scanner beep, most likely the code scanned but it did not load correctly. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot this issue. If you do not hear the scanner beep, try scanning the Barcode while a text editor such as Microsoft Word is open on the computer to see if Windows detects the scan. If it does not, follow the step for Barcode Not Scanning. Here is an example of a compatible barcode scanner.
- In Melco OS v11, make sure you have updated to the latest version.
- DesignShop 12 supports barcode creation. If you are using DesignShop v11, you will need version DesignShop v11.3.88.
