This error can occur when a design is being sent from DesignShop to the machine's Operating Software(OS).
One solution is to load the design directly into the Operating Software. In the Operating Software click on File > Load Design… > and choose the design you want to load. Below are further steps to get a design to send from DesignShop.
1. If Load Design... is Grayed out, make sure the USB Dongle is working.
2. If Load Design... is not listed, check for a Detection Issue.
3. Bravo OS users only: Sending a design from DesignShop to Bravo OS is not supported. Use Bravo OS to load the design by selecting: File > Load Design…
4. Make sure your Operating Software is open and your machine is on. You should see the hoop in your Operating Software before trying to send a design to it.
5. Turn on Run as Administrator for DesignShop. Right click the DesignShop icon and go to Properties > Compatibility and check Run this program as an administrator. After following those steps you might get an error ‘This App Has Been Blocked For Your Protection’, follow the instructions on the linked article to resolve that other error.
5. If there is no light on the User Interface Assembly (Keypad), you will need additional technical assistance. Here are the available Melco Technical Support options. ‘No error and Gray screen but adapter is selected’
