If your Current Needle Position is showing 0, follow the steps below.
1. Cycle the Emergency Stop Button.
2. Go to Tools > Maintenance > Steppers > Home under Color Change
3. Test the Thread Feed Home Sensor. Go to Tools > Maintenance > Sensors > and check if the Thread Feed is blocked or open.

4. Push on the Active Needles Bottom Pinch Roller to see if the status of the Thread Feed sensor changes.
5. Remove the Left (P/N 33094-02) and Right (P/N 33093-02) Color Change Drive Covers, also known as Clam Shell Covers.
6. You can check the sensor manually by sliding a piece of paper between the sensors pylons. The paper will Block in the Sensors Menu.
7. If the situation remains unresolved, you will need additional technical assistance. Here are the available Melco Technical Support options.
- The Thread Feed Motor might need replacing, this might happen after a Thread Feeder Timeout Trying To Find Home Position error.
- Check for a Z Bind or Z axis tracking error.
