If your needle is stuck down after the 30 million stitch maintenance, it might be because the Presser Foot is catching and locked on the Connecting Rod or the Presser Foot is binding on the Needle Block Clamp. Follow the steps below to fix this issue. If your needle is stuck down and you were not doing the 30 million stitch maintenance, check for a Z Bind.
1. Push in the Emergency Stop Button.
2. Push up on the Presser Foot and rotate the Z Shaft slightly.

3. Check if the Presser Foot is binding on the Needle Block Clamp. To release this bind, pull the Presser Foot back and out of the way of the Needle Block Clamp.

4. Check for and resolve both binds at the same time to resolve the Z Bind.
5. Release the Emergency Stop Button.
6. If the Z Bind is fixed, continue with any unfinished steps in the maintenance.
