Syncing files and updating machine


This message appears when the machine needs to update or repair files saved to it, known as loading Firmware. If you see this error, you'll typically want to wait 5 minutes to allow it to complete.  In rare instances synching completed after 30 minutes.

  1. If the message is still showing after waiting 5 minutes press Cancel. If the machine connects and appears in the Machines List, skip the additional steps below.
  2. Launch the OS again and allow it to complete synching.
  3. If the machine still does not complete synching, turn the machine OFF.  Connect the machine directly to the computer, bypassing any Ethernet Hub.
  4. Turn the machine ON.  If the message appears again, wait another 5 minutes (30 minutes maximum).
  5. If the situation remains unresolved, you will need additional technical assistance. Here are the available Melco Technical Support options.

a.  Delete the .BIN files

b.  Turn off User Account Control

c.  Turn off Anti-Virus and IDS

d.  Check if there is a light on the Keypad.  If there isn't, follow the steps for No Light On Keypad.
