- The current design of Pinch Rollers in all new Melco Embroidery Machines are made of a composite that no longer has glass fibers, so the pinch rollers will not degrade over time.
- When machines are manufactured, a thin layer of Beige Polymer Grease can be added. After that, no additional lubricating should be needed.
- If older pinch rollers are replaced with the current design, a very thin layer of Beige Polymer Grease can be applied. Be careful not to use excessive grease which can get through the middle of the pinch rollers and impair the thread feed rollers.
- The current design of pinch rollers are tooled to exact specification. They may seem tighter when removed and replaced.
