The recommended Bobbin Case for the EMT16 is PN# 004267-01. (The PN#34396 which was originally included with early EMT16's in 2014 and 2015 should be replaced with the recommended bobbin case for more consistent bobbin tension.)
Loose tension on the bobbin can result in the following symptoms:
- Increased bobbin thread usage
- Looser stitches when the machine is run in manual Actifeed mode
- Bobbin pull to the top side of the embroidery
- Machine stoppages due to false bobbin or false thread breaks
