
Flagging describes when the fabric raises with the needle. It can prevent the loop from forming and lead to Missed-Stitches, Thread Breaks, and other issues. All fabrics will flag, however the amount of flagging is determined by several variables, follow the steps below to reduce flagging.
- Use a more stable Backing.
- Follow the steps for Proper Hooping Techniques.
- Check your Presser-Foot.
- Reduce the sew speed to match the application you are working on.
- Avoid using Spray and other Adhesives.
- Consider reducing the stitch density in the digitizing.
