Presser Foot Gap Adjustment

You should be able to fit a 4mm hex wrench (allen key) between the needle and the presser foot. If the 4mm wrench does not fit, follow the steps below:

1. Move the Needle Case to Needle #1.
2. In the Operating Software, click on Tools > Maintenance > Head Timing > and click the Bottom Center button.
3. The following adjustment is very sensitive. Do Not push or bend the top portion of the Presser foot.
4. Use two Needle Nose Pliers to grab the Presser foot in the locations shown below:
   
   
5. Hold the top Plier in place so it doesn’t move.
6. Twist the bottom Plier down and backwards slightly to create a 4mm gap.
7. Use the 4mm wrench to confirm the gap is correct.
