Review the online instructions for creating a network source drive to share design files:
Both online guides also include a Network Source Troubleshooting guide:
IMPORTANT: Melco Technical Support can assist with the setup of the Network Shared Source Drive, but if there is network security or other network configuration options blocking the communication between the network shared drive and the Summit or E16 PRO, you will need to engage your Network Administrator or an IT Professional to reconfigure the network to allow the communication to occur.
Additional Configuration Recommendations:
- In Windows, Password Protection may need to be turned OFF:
- Go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change advanced sharing settings.
- Under All Networks, turn off password protected sharing.
- Click Save changes.
- Using shorter names for the Shared Folder on the PC may work better. Example: "DesignFiles", "SummitFiles", or "E16Files".
- Using the IP Address of the PC when configuring on the Touchscreen may have better results, as indicated on the Network Source Troubleshooting page.
