Put a dab of Loctite 222 or Loctite 680 on the end of the shaft. (Loctite can be purchased at most hardware stores.) Tap the round bar back in (use a small hammer if needed) until it's flush with the end of the aluminum extrusion. Put the end cap back on. The Loctite should dry overnight and the machine can be used the following day.
