While the brackets have multiple mounting locations, for Melco machines, only one position is appropriate and functional.
Position the hoop as shown and align the top hole of the bracket with the top hole in the hoop itself. Notice the notch in the right bracket is up and closest to the top of the hoop.
This will create a 3” offset in the Y direction. This brings the hoop forward on the machine to avoid hitting the machine when loading the hoop.
