UPDATED DETAILS 11.12.25: A new Windows 11 update to OS Build 26200.7171 or newer should provide a complete resolution to this situation.
If the text box has overlapping/distorted text:
- Drag over all of the text to highlight it.
- Press Delete.
- Type the new text and click Apply.
Other Options:
- Use the Backspace key to remove all of the text, then retype your text.
- Move the mouse cursor out of the property window.
- Click on another property tab.
This situation appears to have occurred following a recent Windows 11 update to 25H2 in October, 2025
