Symptom: When launching the Hoop Manager or the Object Properties within DesignShop, the window does not appear, and the program appears to lock up, until the ESC key is pressed.
Cause: The Hoop Manager or Object Properties window is starting, but its screen coordinates in Windows are beyond the screen limits (the window is off of the screen.)
Resolution:
The information below involves changes to the Windows Registry. This change should only be made by someone who is experienced with performing Windows Registry modifications.
- Close the DesignShop program
- In the Registry (REGEDIT), navigate to DesignShop's settings key, located at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Melco
- Within that Registry key, delete the DesignShop2008 or DesignShopV11 key, depending upon which version of DesignShop is installed. If both keys appear, it's ok to delete both.
- Restart DesignShop and it will rebuild the screen coordinates for that Hoop Manager window with the default settings in the center of the screen.
