Over the past few weeks there have been multiple reports of a "Bad Image" error message appearing when trying to run Melco OS, Bravo OS, or DesignShop software on computers using McAfee Anti-Virus (Anti-Malware) software. We suspect that a recent update of the McAfee software is the source of this failure.
POSSIBLE RESOLUTION: In multiple cases, the resolution is to Uninstall the Melco software within Windows' Control Panel - Programs and Features. After the Uninstall is complete, re-install the Melco software from DVD or from Download.
Disabling McAfee software has not provided a resolution.
